Question 1

How many photos should a job have?

Accepted Answer

There is no right number, only gaps you will regret. Shoot arrival and departure for every visit, before and after for every area you touch, and anything you are about to cover — framing, rough-in, waterproofing — before it is closed in. A small repair might be a dozen photos; a renovation runs into hundreds. Plus and above have no monthly photo limit.

Question 2

Who generates the report?

Accepted Answer

Anyone on the account who can see the project, from the web dashboard or by asking the GeoCliks AI assistant for it. The crew only takes the photos: the log builds itself as captures sync, so the office can export it the moment the last one lands.

Question 3

Can I export on the Free plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a PDF of up to 20 photos. Excel, ZIP and KMZ exports, before-and-after layouts, your own logo on the report and live share links come with the Plus plan and above.

Question 4

Does the person receiving it need GeoCliks?

Accepted Answer

No. The PDF, Excel and ZIP open with the software they already have, KMZ opens in Google Earth, and any photo code in the log can be checked at geocliks.com/verify without an account.

Question 5

Does a photo log prove the work met spec?

Accepted Answer

No. It shows that each photo is an unaltered original, taken at a stated time and place. Whether the work in it meets the drawings, the code or the contract is for the GC, the inspector or the owner to judge, and admissibility is decided under rules no app controls.
